C.B.T - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy APP

[   overview   ]

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) app helps to break toxic habits (a negative behavioral patterns) that develop over time, such as irritation in traffic, snapping at loved ones, or spiraling into worry by focusing on the negative. These habits feel ingrained because they’re repeated often, but they are not a natural part of who we are. Toxic habits are destructive, causing stress in our brains and bodies, impairing memory, and reducing overall well-being. To regain control, these habits must be identified, dismantled, and replaced with positive, constructive thinking patterns.
  • This CBT-based program is designed to help users overcome anxiety, stress, and Rebuild Healthy Habits

[   Challenges   ]

  • Lack of Personalized Support:
Mental health needs vary, so I worked on creating personalized tools and exercises to cater to individual users’ unique experiences.
  • Balancing Accessibility and Monetization:
I had to ensure essential features were accessible for free while offering premium options for subscribers to maintain sustainability.
  • Content Redundancy:
To keep users engaged, I replaced repetitive content with diverse and dynamic exercises and tools.
  • Integration of Multiple Features:
I focused on seamlessly combining journaling, mindfulness, therapists’ guidance, and CBT tools for a holistic user experience.

[   Solutions   ]

  • Mood Tracking : Track daily emotional states. Visualize trends over time (basic graph or timeline)
  • Gamification for engagement and motivation: Daily streaks, completing exercises or logging moods for consecutive days. Visually create a emotional response as a player, engaging and motivating them to go further

  • Structured CBT Tools: Guided exercises like thought journaling, mood tracking, and behavioral activation to simplify CBT processes.
